As per reports from Deadline, Pixar unveiled a teaser for an upcoming animated feature entitled “Hoppers” during the 2024 Disney showcase at D23 Expo.
The exclusive preview showcased two female scientists explaining to a young boy that they intend to transplant his mind into the body of a beaver, for reasons yet unspecified. The teaser then cuts to scenes of the beaver dashing around in what appears to be a series of comical escapades.
Directed by Daniel Chong, the creator behind the hit series “We Bare Bears,” “Hoppers” is slated for a summer release in 2026. The voice cast includes Bobby Moynihan, known for his role in “Inside Out 2,” Piper Curda, and Jon Hamm, who will lend his voice to the character of the town's mayor, a villainous figure with a mission to eradicate the beaver.
